    Question EFI 4.5.2 Rip & OSX 10.7

Anyone running this combo on their mac? We just got the software yesterday and found out 10.7 is not supported because it has some bugs. We just purchased the Mac Pro 2 weeks ago and I can't go back and add 10.6 (they don't sell it)

I am running XF 4.5.2 on Lion and it seems to work OK. But I'm not in a production environment and have certainly not done exhaustive testing. So, I would install it and see how it goes - but know that you won't get support from EFI on it if it doesn't work. There is no ETA of official support by EFI yet either - although I do know they are working on it.

My suggestion is to find a reseller that still has 10.6, buy it and install it. Even if you have to buy it on eBay. You should be good to go.

    Good News...............

    05 OCT 11

    Greetings

Well it's official, as of today the EFI Fiery and Colorproof XF applications are supported on MAC 10.7.
The issues with the Virtual Printer and Unidriver are still unresolved, but all other functionality is a go.

Thought you'd like the good news.

    Sincerely,

    Wenzel Kust

Their wasn't a chance in hell we were going to go backwards and install 10.6. The only place I could find it anyway was Ebay.

I'll keep you posted with any issues we find on it

I take back my last post. I was talking to EFI a few minutes ago about a question I had. As of today the are NOT supporting the rip on OSX 10.7. It sounds like they saw some more problems with it. Knock on wood.........ours seems to be running just fine
