Default Anyone try to use Canon W6400 ink in a Dupont Largo

The Dupont Largo is a rebadged Canon wide format device. Dupont claims that it's special ink in unique cartridges. I'm not planning on using this printer for colour accuracy and wondering if anyone has ever tried to put a canon cartridge into this machine. I know that the cartridges have special chips that monitor ink levels and identify the colour to ensure that you can't put a cyan cartridge into a yellow chamber, but I wonder if I could just use the equivalent Canon cartridge?

Did you discover if the Canon cartridges work?
