I bought this machine used, images test OK, also imaged a PDF from the internet, but a PDF generated in ID CS3 won't do a thing... it acts like it's gonna send it, but nothing happens. I suppose I'm generating a later version PDF or something... anybody can help? Thanks!!

Viper don't like PDF files :)

You should export your file from ID to an old PDF version (1.3).

The best is to print directly from ID to Viper.

Did you create a virtual printer on the workstation where Viper is installed?

Are you working on a MAC or PC workstation?

I've tried exporting to oldest version of PDF w/ ID CS3 - no dice. How could I create a virtual printer on the PC for the Viper? - that would be by far the better way, don't know where to get drivers or whatever is needed.... ? Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks! Lamar

Got it...

Got it...

We got the Agfa working --- was as simple as installing it as a printer on our PC -- then printing the job as a PS file, copy to a disk, then run that file on the Mac-Viper to the Filmsetter...

Thanks
