Canon imagePRESS C600i/C700 vs Ricoh Pro 5100S vs Sharp MX-6500N

OK, how about comparing a RICOH C5100s, Canon ImagePRESS C60 Pro and Xerox C60 - are they all generally in the same ballpark?

Memjet Envelope Printer - Astrojet M1

There is a 2in thick pack of copy paper under one corner and a screw driver under the other adjacent corner. I don't think shims would work. Also, I wish to introduce a new topic as well:we can't find the install discs for this machine and we need to install them on a different computer. Does...

Memjet Envelope Printer - Astrojet M1

We have the astrojet M-series, and the oddest thing: apparently we need to have it propped up beneath so the device is tilted in two different directions. I am new here and I never really asked why that was necessary, but wondered if anyone else knows about this?

Do you know WHAT FONT this is, what is the name of this font HELP!!

WhatTheFont.com doesn't provide any good matches, so my guess is the font is created by someone that uploaded their font to a site like dafont.com

    CMYK printing dots anomoly

It's official: our C1 ImagePRESS is repaired of the weird colored dots. The factory replacement drum was the trick, so the dots are now gone, and we actually have considerably better outputs now too.

    CMYK printing dots anomoly

Hey, everyone... just a little update: our tech returned this week stating he'd heard back from Canon. Apparently he was asked to inspect the drum. It turns out the drum has a tiny blemish on the surface (rather visible to the naked eye depending on how the light reflects on it) that is picking...

    CMYK printing dots anomoly

Yeah, Matt - it's very weird... I wish more people like yourself would chime in and throw around some wild ideas like yours.... it seems Canon is totally in the dark on this one. It's a rather significant issue too, because obviously we can't run all our work oversized just so we can crop that...

    CMYK printing dots anomoly

Well, Matt - IMO they're anything but 'code'.... I'll scan the marks/dots into a 100% scale image for this thread so everyone else can see exactly what we're seeing: that might help.

    CMYK printing dots anomoly

Interesting thought, Matt... I could pass that onto the techs from our maintenance contract and see if it stirs something up.... stay tuned. :)

    CMYK printing dots anomoly

We have a Canon C1 ImagePRESS that was installed roughly 4.5 years ago. We still use it quite often, despite it requiring several forms of maintenance over the last 6 months. One issue neither ourselves nor our contracted maintenance tech has been able to solve is an issue with certain outputs...

Canon ImagePRESS C1 - technical issues

@Goprints.... we had the same issue here last week... our device (C1 ImagePRESS) is on a maintenance contract, so the repair was completed by their technicians. If you're still wondering how to deal with your issue, I can ask them what the problem/solution is. Just mail me at qkarmark (AT)...

Hey, folks. Are these digital devices color toner or inkjet? what is the sheetsize specs and colour range? Also, what might be the ROI?

Windows XP to Mac OS X

So it was all for not: we decided to deploy the CWS and impose software onto the existing Fiery server - ala XP - and included a monitor, mouse and KB: it's now a dedicated Fiery workstation. No Mac OS X this time. Thanks for all your help nonetheless.

Windows XP to Mac OS X

@ UncleSam thx - We've got a Canon C1 ImagePRESS - and the version of CMW for Mac included on the install CDs was 1.3 of39 (I've since installed the 1.4 that I located on the Canon.europe.com site) and after seeing your comment, I've also been able to locate a v1.5 (located here: Fuji Xerox...

Windows XP to Mac OS X

Hi, I recently convinced our manager to upgrade my system from a PC to a Mac (W00t!!), so now I feel so much more productive (design-wise). In the meantime, however, the PC is where we used to operate our Fiery Command Workstation software and the attached server/Canon C1 ImagePRESS. The...
