I know you said you're high volume, but is it worth it to crack open the DB and reformat the field that has the date as a 'text' field? Otherwise, we've found that pasting in a row of data that simply says "TEST" in every field will trick uDirect into thinking every field is a text field...

If there's any transparency in the file, try using PDF-VT out of XMPie. We don't have all that much luck running ppml files out of XMPie if there's any art at all in the file. YMMV. (Really miss .vdx on the NexPress. Oh well.)
