Local editing can be achieved but I fear than other parts will also be affected. With regards to tools that can do this type of editing, I think most of the softwares can help you with this since this sounds like a minor editing.

Maybe you really need the creasing machine. Most of the time, cracking can be solved through coating. But in your case, none of the traditional methods seem to solve it.

I do the technique that Ajr mentions. Like he said though, it doesn’t always work. It does however do a good job at getting pretty close to it.

I agree with some of the previous comments, if you plan on going with digital printing I would look into MGI. It will probably yield you the best results for what you seem to want. That aside I am a big fan of plastic business cards, they stand out from the others a lot.

Once you have a set budget and know what your target audience is then it will be a lot easier to choose. That aside I would personally go with MGI to start off with. Good luck!
