That's the 2nd btr marking them. I've found lately I'm getting through alot of them than before but I have been running alot more coated stock. Thankfully xerox have no problem with me ordering a few at a time.

You obviously have some specific images you'd be printing so I'd suggest putting together a portfolio of these and the stock you'd like to use and send to each for sample prints. Otherwise you'll probably just be shown generic commercial material. I'd also be overestimating your possible volume...

Depends on what contract you have with your supplier. You either have a colour and black click charge or colour, single colour and black. Not something anyone here can confirm.

I've had this once or twice on our V80, I think they did the pressure roller first but I have in my head it was a complete new fuser that solved it. From the first image you can see the toner hasn't fused in the crease so it is happening prior/in the fuser.

I understand all machines have some fault or another but I would expect a manufacturer to work to resolve such an obvious one. The fact this problem has been around so long through three generations of machine is what annoys me so much. Obviously shows they've made no attempt to fix.

Are both machines the same model? Surely if it happens on one machine and not the other that rules out the paper? Both machines in same room/environment? Does it matter if machine is cold/warm? i.e. if you run another job through the machine in case an condensation etc and then go straight to...

If you bind against the grain the book will suffer waves and the pages won't flow well. This video shows what I would call an extreme version.

What mixed results are you having?

Something was wrong then. We just ran 4000 through our v80 yesterday and I had one jam. Only time I ever have problems is when it's a really cheap envelope or just badly boxed stock and it's warped before going in.

We had rip issues last year with blue screen of death, mainly happening with larger file sizes. First thing the tech did was replace the ram, didn't work so hard drive after. Maybe dodgy ram?

From on here the v280 still suffers same issues as v80. A few on here reported new btrs with metal rollers but that caused other issues. I've never seen these in Ireland. I will say the btr itself is different, I got sent a v280 btr by mistake and it printed but image size kept changing sheet...
