TIFFs, Xpo and Magnus 400

Wonder if anyone has any ideas. Working with a “Creo Xpo” driving a Magnus 400 with third party tiff newly enabled. Trying to set it up to take tiffs.

Set up hot folders, checked settings against a friend who's system is working fine. Can image just fine from Brisque. When sending a tiff, get the following error every time:

error N:5230 ocurred. No room in buffers timeout. TSP is waiting for plotter with full buffer. (Check if plotter is ready for expose).

Can view the tiff when I get information about the job, can image anything from Brisque, can't image tiff. Tried different compression, tried different size tiffs. Can send same tiffs through the Brisque, and they work. Can't get them through the Xpo!

No documentation came with 3rd party tiff release code. No documentation is on the kodak ecentral site, no information about error 5230 in the Xpo documentation and Kodak wants us to pay to get any answers, even though we just gave them thousands for the release code!!

Can anyone help with this?

Hi Kernk,
Is there anywhere on your front end RIP ( i.e. the output settings) where you could input the Drum Speed of the Magnus? If yes, than have a look at what speed is the drum set up to and put this value in.

Can you be more specific? Also, we are running these plates with success through the brusque, do you think it needs to be different to allow the buffer time?? And what setting did you suggest.

I am afraid you will have to get back to Kodak with your problem as you can use the XPO from the Brisque. Kodak gave you the license so they should help you out with the error you are getting. Maybe you need the latest ver. of XPO.
