So I just bought XMPIE Umerge with the hope that it would be faster on large runs than Indesign data merge. So far the only option I found to export was as single page pdfs. I have a mailer going that is 28,000 pieces. I know I can export 28,000 files and combine them in Acrobat but is seems like a $40 per month program should be able to do better than that. Am I missing something? Is there another vdp program that is better at the same price range? So far we have used data merge in ID. It works fine until you get into 10 or 20 thousand pieces.
