New additions to Sharp’s high-volume multifunction printer (MFP) lineup—along with an MX-PE12 Fiery Print Server—are enabling them to move into the production printing market. For customers not wanting a Fiery, both devices are also available with standard print controllers and include Pantone Licensing.
On display at Print-17, the Sharp MX-6580N & MX-7580N high-speed color document systems (1200x1200 dpi at 65 and 75 ppm, respectively) are targeted for lower volume monthly duty cycles. The presses feature modular, in-line configurations that provide a variety of affordable solutions for production printers, including: high-speed copying, printing, folding & booklet making.
With training & support critical for the production market, all Sharp Print Production Managers have earned Fiery’s Certified Expert title, to provide customer support.
