At the Xeikon Café NA event, Xeikon unveiled their new Chicago Innovation Centre—one of the few centers around the globe where people can fully experience Xeikon solutions. Also announced, were plans to make their North American Café an annual event.
The Innovation Centre encompasses workflow, consumables, printing presses, converting equipment, and a broad spectrum of production & business needs for printers & converters. Shown for the first time in NA, the Café displayed 2 new digital presses from their Fast Feline family: Xeikon PX3000 powered by Panther UV inkjet technology and the Xeikon CX500 powered by Cheetah dry toner technology.
Dave Wilkins, Xeikon VP Sales & Marketing US announced the further expansion of their North American staff. Donna Covannon is their new Marketing Director & James Achenbach heads up Technical Engineering Solutions & Sales Support for the U.S. & Canada. Previously VP Market Development at Xerox, Covannon is a printing industry veteran with degrees from RIT and the U of R. The company will also provide dedicated, sales teams for all markets it serves.
