Jmacy...what would you like to know?

    Here are the basics:
    • Handles sheet sizes up to 13" x 47"
    • Media weights up to 400gsm
    • Speed is 71ppm (A4/Letter)
    • Unique substrate handling includes PVC plastics and synthetics up to 400 μm or 18mil
    • There is a unique infrared lamp that heats the media before it enters the engine to optimize the print surface
    • The iFoil unit allows you to apply foil to black toner. Then you put the sheet back through the system to print CMYK over the foil and remainder of the sheet.
    • When you lay down silver foil, then print CMYK on top of it, you essentially get unlimited colors of foil because you are colorizing the foil with the toner
    • The front end is Fiery
    • The service model is no click charges. There is a flat monthly fee and you buy consumables as needed.

      Jwheeler,

Are you an owner or know of any users for this press. Would like to know more about performance.

I am not an owner...I used to sell production gear for Konica Minolta. If you reach out to your local KM rep, they can provide some references for you.

Why Would You Ever Want To Automate?
It seems far too complex, costs money, involves a lot of people, will take time etc etc. And then you run out of excuses. Read the article.
