  • Xerox Versant 180 Cyan drop out

    Hello Everyone
Why would the cyan just stop working? We replaced the drum and vacuumed everything. Cyan is getting toner.
We did run the cleaning wand as well. We also switched drums with another color with the same results. We believe the drum is turning.
Could the laser have gone bad?

Did the other color fail, or was the cyan still failing when you switched the drums? Perhaps you forgot to remove the small cover on the drum that is above a spiral foam thing?

No the other color did not fail, printed correctly. Still failed when switched drum.

Could be developer/housing or the laser. Could also be the cyan drum drive/motor.

We have had the developer housing replaced a few times over the years as well as the drive motors for it. Not sure if it is common for others but has been common for us, think it has all been fully replaced for each colour.
