I have a customer looking at the CPP550 to do 6500 color prints a month which includes a large 20 page power point presentation double sided. Has anyone had any experience with this machine and how it handles the power points? I know some rips and memory issues can cause the some competitor equipment to lock up.

For only 6,500 color pages per month, the CPP500 might be overkill. As for printing powerpoints, some RIPs allow you to take the slide background and make it a master template that is RIPed once. It is a simple VDP workflow, which can help on RIP perfomance of graphics-laden slide backgrounds.
