Presstek options

After talking with the Ptek guy I was shocked that the better powder sprayer was $12,000 dollars extra! wow that's alot for a small sprayer! How about the owners on the list, what options did you guys get and what options were worth the extra money on the 34DI.

Re: Presstek options

Wow 12 grand?
Does that include an infra-red dryer also?
Have you contacted other powder spray manufactures like Accel or Air Tech for a price?
It is not that hard to hook a sprayer up to blow powder to keep the sheets separated.
A simple sensor connected to the sprayer control box would work.

Accel and Air Tech both make good units for many press manufactures maybe give them a shout out.

Re: Presstek options

I'm baffled

we had a 34Di and now have a 52Di. Both machines came with versions of the same spray unit (Weko) and both were standard fit, no options.

Both worked excellently.

Seems like you have options?
