Is there anyway to get the printed document to preserve that attribute?

Hello all,

I've been stumped by this problem recently. A site I use to retrieve a report I think generates the report using XSLT. The on screen report renders nicely, but when I print it, the background shading to make alternate lines distinguishable, isn't being printed. This makes the printed version very difficult to read. is there anyway to get the printed document to preserve that attribute? I'm starting to suspect this is a browser rendering to printer issue, but I'm hoping someone has a way around it. Both IE and FF do it, I haven't tried Chrome yet.

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Thank you.
