  • Canadian Label & Package Printing Conference—2019 Returns to Toronto

The Canadian Label & Package Printing Conference—2019 will return to Toronto, alongside Graphics Canada. Hosted by Labelexpo Americas and Labels & Labeling magazine, this year’s conference is 2-days: April 11 & 12 at Toronto’s International Centre.

The event offers an educational opportunity for commercial and package printing professionals to boost their business know-how. They will learn about the key issues affecting Canadian converters, and have the opportunity to network with key influencers.

    Conference highlights include:
    • The voice of the label converter—A panel discussion with some of Canada’s leading label converters, covering topics including equipment choices & technical challenges.
    • Exploring the Canadian cannabis market—A local converter takes an in-depth look at the regulations around this burgeoning area of the market.
    • Equipment drill down—Offers a broad overview of imposition & planning software, workflow organization and color management.
    • Equipment & skillset requirements for label converting—Offers insights into the market, with representatives from Domino, Xeikon, HP, Mark Andy, Fujifilm & Epson.
    • Making the move into labels – what you need to know—Sets out how commercial printers can expand into labels.
    • Materials in depth—Looks at material considerations, since these are radically different to what commercial printers are used to.
The conference is free to attend with a Graphics Canada show badge. Pre-register AT: www.graphicscanada.com/label-package-printing-forum-canada
