AMS Spectral UV—a Baldwin Technology Company—will preview its new XPi FLEX Series LED UV curing technology for mid-web, wide-web and CI flexo presses at LabelExpo Europe—September 24-27, 2019—Brussels, Hall 6 #6E52.
AMS Spectral UV’s Internet-of-things (IoT) capability is now available on its X Series (first introduced in 2010) and Blade Series products for narrow & digital web applications. The IoT technology enables real-time press performance data to be continuously sent to a secure cloud storage system, where important parameters can be tracked, visualized and documented. IoT also assists with curing & predictive maintenance alerts.
AMS staff notes there are also several integration developments across technologies in the works, including: connecting IoT—gathered data from curing, corona treatment, color registration and inspection systems—for greater production and higher print quality.
