Oleoresinous varnishes and acid

I recall hearing somewhere that they increase in acidity with age, but I stand to be corrected. Would you ever use oleoresinous on printing intended to last?

Hello Bronze Blue,

Acidity in Litho Printing is an important factor.

Oleoresinous Varnishes are used as Ink Vehicles in the manufacture of Litho Printing Inks, my guess is that you are

referring to the "Fatty Acids" which are a necessary component of Ink Vehicles which aid the Oxidation process.
