Introduced at their Xeikon Café, Xeikon’s new PX3000 UV inkjet digital label press is based on their Panther UV inkjet technology. It will join the 3000 & CX3 dry toner devices in their label press lineup.

Along with Xeikon’s other digital presses, the PX will be driven by their X-800 digital front-end with a workflow designed for label production. The intuitive GUI is capable of handling a multitude of short run label designs and jobs, with ease. The PX3000 is complementary to their dry toner presses, according to Xeikon, and addresses particular needs of label producers, specifically with: food, health & beauty, industrial, wine & spirits, pharma, and beverage applications.

Features of the new press: web width—330 mm (13”), maximum speed—50 m/min (164 ft/min), CMYK + white & 600x600 dpi. It handles self-adhesive media with facestocks including paper, PVC, PP, PET and PE. Commercial availability of the PX3000 is scheduled for October 2017.

What does the printer cost? I have notice several new inkjet printers recently, but would like to hear about price point.
