Seeking a Customer Service Representative for a leading printer in the Akron, OH area.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

•Work directly with customers to take accurate orders while making adjustments or revisions as necessary.

•Completes job ticket accurately and completely to provide job instructions to all areas of plant.

•Work directly with various company departments and subcontractors for scheduling, production, and to keep informed of status of jobs. Participates in department meetings and Continuous Improvement Process, including identifying opportunities for improvement and working on problem solving teams.

•Serve as lead for startup meetings for new accounts or new titles to communicate customer’s requirements to the plant.

•Inputting new and reprint titles into Prep, making the job tickets, impositions, step sheets, combos, trims, labeling discs, checking lasers, etc.

•Work directly with customers to review Digital’s preflight sheet of customer’s disks and resolve any problems.

•Coordinate paper inventory and availability close to print date.

•Continually compares customer schedules with TPO schedules to check for matched dates.

•Performs Section Breakdowns and Polybag/Mail tickets for Bindery and Mail departments to meet customer instructions for binding, mailing and shipping.

•Resolves customer complaints while communicating issues to plant.

Other various duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous experience in sales or customer service in the printing or graphic arts industry.

Bachelor’s degree preferred plus one to two year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay range is $40-55K DOE.
