Responsible for selling Presstek’s high complexity consumables products via the telephone.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
• Generates prospective customers through cold calling and closes sales generated by cold calling.
• Identifies and qualifies potential sales leads and develops sales plans for converting leads to sales using available resources. I
• Interfaces with key buying influencers to negotiate sales terms and close the sale.
• Establishes and maintain relationships with channel partners and existing customers to gain incremental sales.
• Emphasizes product features and benefits, discusses credit terms, quotes prices, and prepares sales orders.
• Meets/exceeds assigned sales quotas for assigned products.
• Participates in market analysis and works collaboratively with outside sales managers, sales leadership, and marketing to continue to define opportunities to maximize territory potential.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested.
• Coordinate with customer service and finance for status on orders ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met.
• Has thorough knowledge of company products/services.
Education and Skills
• Marketing or business related field.
• 3+ years of telesales experience ideally with consumables products.
• Able to work in a self-directed environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Highly energetic and self-starter.
• Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
