Job Description
An innovative implementer with skills meeting demanding deadlines while consistently producing quality products of diverse specifications.  Dedicated team player who understands the importance of creating a quality product, accountable and professional leader to consistently delivers cost effectively in required timelines.


Experience
* Manage print production, planning and execution for myriad of products that included print advertising, marketing collateral, corporate communications/training and promotional materials.
* Oversee and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects meet client specifications and quality guidelines.
* Manage and maintain positive vendor relationships including estimating, contracts and purchase orders.
* Oversee file management, prepress proofing, press check ( web, sheet, digital) locally and nationally.
* Collaborate with accounting team and clients to determine requirements and assist in making creative decisions, determining budget, and formulating cost-effective solutions.
* Develop and implement process improvements that encompass administration, formulation, scheduling, production, and tracking activities.
* Built and manage a supplier network that controls costs while meeting service level agreements and delivery expectations
* Introduce process improvements and controls that enhance efficiencies and reduce costs.


Competencies
* Provide pre-production services such as communicating job specific information, entering of order into production and preparation of timely and accurate job instructions to meet customer expectations.
* Interpret and input retouching information and communicate and monitor process with off-site department
* Review and confirm retouching, color type corrections and changes before client reviews
* Organize systems for managing work in progress and completed projects
* Implement tracking and reports regarding job status
* Implement procedures for shipping and tracking work that goes to client, and informing client of status
* Preflight projects for release to print vendors.
* Orchestrate collaboration with Creative, Editorial, Production, Traffic and Sales.
* Ability to gain the trust of individuals, achieve consensus, and maintain long-term, mutually-beneficial relationships.
* Ability to manage print production specifications, Pre-press, Direct Mail, POD , Budgets, Project Management, Estimating, Purchasing, Vendor Management, Contract Negotiation, Quality Assurance, Strategic & Tactical Planning, Process Improvement, Operations
* Critical thinking and problem solving skills
* Planning and organizing
* Communication skills
* Team work and adaptability


Education
* Prefer College Degree or equivalent experience


Computer Skills
* Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite, MS Office Tools especially proficient in Excel
