We used to call this position a “Prepress Operator”, but it has become so much more, hence the title. This industry is evolving so quickly that it is hard to keep up.
That being said, this is an AWESOME opportunity for the right individual.
Here is what we are looking for in any applicants:
File preparation for digital and offset printing.
This includes the ability to RIP, trap and paginate page files.
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro and Enfocus PitStop are required.
Knowledge of W2P systems is desired. Experience with both the customer interface and the administrative side is a plus. XML and SQL experience would also be great.
Knowledge and experience with Mailing services and the USPS would also be a bonus.
We are a progressive company located in northern San Diego County in California.
