Cardinal ColorGroup, located 20 miles west of Chicago, has a print production position open immediately.
Responsibilities include:
• Working as part of a 3-person team managing production schedules.
• Must be able to keep up in a fast pace environment.
• Work with sales to properly enter jobs into production, checking specifications vs estimates for accuracy and entering job tickets into EFI Monarch.
• Interact with outside vendors and manage vendor relations.
• Manage and coordinate entire projects from prepress, pressroom, bindery, mailing and fulfillment.
• Must be able to adapt and show flexibility to maintain schedules and delivery dates.
• Communicate with sales and clients to ensure timelines and deadlines are met.
• Willingness to embrace variable data, mail data and USPS technologies.
• Review client samples for quality.
• Prepare billing after project completion.
