    Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: In this position, you must quickly learn to utilize the appropriate equipment. Also requires the ability to stay under control while working with continually changing work assignments in a deadline driven environment. Printing and assembly skills are required.

    Physical Requirements: Work requires employee to be mobile, as walking and standing are frequent. Candidate must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Job also requires the use of hands, including but not limited to reaching over head, and working in a crouched position. Successful performance requires good vision and the ability to read small type.

    1. Print operator is expected to setup and operate digital printing presses. Setup and operation includes but is not limited to sending data, managing print queues and trays, trouble shooting printer issues, performing general maintenance, and managing time to meet client deadlines.

    2. Responsible for managing up to three simultaneously.

    3. Perform detailed assembly tasks for completing kits and sequential numbering jobs.

    4. Must be very detail oriented. Reading detailed instructions and components on work orders is critical.

    5. Manage paper, toner, and staple inventory levels.

    6. Perform tasks as scheduled with little direct supervision.

    7. The ability to multi-task while staying focused is a must. Time must be maximized to ensure productivity is high.

    8. Knowledge of both Mac and PC computers is required.

    9. Must be able to pack and ship materials up to 60 lbs.

    10. Will be required to operate bindery/finishing equipment.

    11. Improvisation skills are necessary to solve work issues that impede production.

    12. Must be team oriented and willing to help other departments as directed.

    13. Ability to work from written and verbal instructions, as well as perform basic math is a must.

    14. Operator will be responsible for performing basic maintenance of digital presses.

    15. Image and process litho plates and have knowledge of offset printing layouts.

    16. Must have experience in operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts.

    17. Comply with general work rules detailed in company handbook as well as following procedures set by supervisor.

    18. Operator will be responsible for quality of work, house keeping in work areas and safety.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $37,500.00 to $44,000.00 /year

    • Printing: 2 years (Preferred)
    • Experience with Ricoh 900 and 9100 series printers preferred but not required.
