My Ideal 5221 guillotine adjusts itself?

My Ideal 5221 guillotine adjusts itself?

I adjust the blade as normal, (with an adjustment screw at the side of the machine, to bring the blade in to contact with the cutting stick) but within 3 cuts it's no longer cutting the last sheet or two.

On closer inspection with the covers off I can see as the blade hits the cutting stick the thread of the adjuster is turning fractionally, (un-assisted) as if there is not enough resistance in the thread to prevent it turning.

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

not seeing what kind adjusting screw you have. try backing it off a little and adding some lock tite or other thread locker then readjust.
