Hi Q8Copy

They only button underneath the table I know of is the switch for the air cushion.
The black thing at the sheet metal cover is the switch S6. And this switch is related to the error 68. If you take the false plate (steel plate) out of the clamp you may place it on its parking position. In this case the switch S6 will be always activated. Do you know how to do this? Do you have an operating manual?
This is first aid only. Now you have no more false clamp underneath your clamp and you have to start using the knob for the clamp pressure regulation. Otherwise you always mark the upper sheets.

The error 68 means:
Somehow the machine memorized a wrong false clamp size. Mostly this is because the battery on the board MB1 is empty or the board MB1 is broken.

I would first of all checking the battery on the board MB1. The minimum voltage is 3 Volt d. c.
If you open the front cover you can reach the battery easily.
If the battery is down it has to be replaced. You cannot buy a normal battery and solder the cable to this battery, except you are a specialist for this job. The battery does not like soldering. I would be easier to buy a correct spare part.

If the battery is replaced you need to initialize the board MB1. I can give you instruction this is not too hard to do. But for this I need the machine number. There are different software versions.

Good luck
