Square back booklets

Does the squarefolding require you do make additional compensations in creep and your inside pages artwork?

Nope. The only thing you do different is have the book go though the square fold unit as the last step. You can completely finish a run of booklets and then decide you wanted them square folded and just hand feed them though the square folder.
 
Just wondering if someone who has experience with this Square IT, what is the smallest booklet that this would have an effect on? I'm looking at doing a job of 10,000 booklets that are 8 8.5x11 sheets folded in half and just wondering if this would really make the end product look better.

Yep. You're talking about a 32-page booklet. It most definitely would look better, as well as stack better in your boxes.
