We print proofs for our presses that are pretty darn close to what actually prints... or at least we DID. We were printing to an HP1050C, using Nexus and a proofer workflow with profiles plugged in for the press and proofer. Now we are doing the same thing, only printing to an HP-T1100ps printer. This isn't working very well for color management. Also, these printers not only use CMY, but also Photo Black, Matte Black and Gray- all at the same time. As an example, a pure 100% Cyan comes out looking like it has gray in it. Anyone have any ideas?
