BlackMagic Rip and Pantone Colors

is it possible to produce a 5 color with Pantone 2736 touchplate and proof accurately? I am able to produce a good match on the 100% of the Pantone color, the problem is in the tones such as 75% down the ramp. The hue in this areas go on the magenta side.

Tints and overprints of spots and process colours are often problematic. I am not familiar with this RIP, does it offer any curve (less likely to help) and or lookup table options (more likely to help) for tints of a spot colour?

The big problem with trying to proof tints of spot colors is that no one has the data. Most RIPs and process control tools are doing a straight-line regression from the solid to paper white. If you've ever looked at a spider-plot, you know that most colors don't move in a straight line from 0% to 100% (yellow is the closest). There are hue shifts that occur, and non-linear changes in L*, and all of that is heavily affected by the substrate.

Now, if you wanted to build a named-color profile, or a 5-channel profile, then you would have data on which to base a proof.
