Extracting a profile from a Photoshop image

What software do I need to be able to extract a color profile from an image that I can use it for other imagery.

Is there any freeware that will do this? I was hoping I could pull it off with the Color Sync utility that comes with the OS, but no luck.

/Library/Scripts/ColorSync/ should have an item named 'Extract Profile' (there on my system).

If not, email me directly and I'll send it to you.

Perfect! Thanks, Don.

Interesting tid-bit, it appears to only work on TIFs, at least for me.

When I was looking to try and color manage incoming CMYK (which I don't do for multiple reasons), I used the extract profile in ColorSync folder. But since I decided it wasn't worth it to color manage incoming CMYK, I don't use it. Just happen to know about it. That's a good tid-bit about TIF to know about if one was to use it.
