Digital Flexo Platemaking

Hi All

Our company is looking at going digital with our plates, and we use mostly flexo plates:

I am thinking that we should go with water-washout plates.
Any thoughts on this and also what equipment to buy etc. ?

Hi Neaz,

I worked w/ the DuPont Thermal FAST system for about 2 years at my last job, and was very happy w/ the plates. There was something new coming from BASF/Kodak at the time, but I'm in commercial printing now (so don't know the latest). Either way, the Thermal CTP was a huge step beyond chemical wash-out, can't speak for experience myself, but the smell alone, was reason to seriously consider!
