ECRM & Southern Lithoplate have partnered to provide a solution for popular, but aging ECRM CtP units which could benefit from greater efficiencies, but have a freeze on capital spending.
LifeXtender—a new program launched by these two industry veterans—incudes an operational assessment of currently operating ECRM NEWS, NEWSmatic 60 & NEWSmatic 250 CtP devices that are either nearing or currently out of warranty. With LifeXtender, these devices can be re-certified so they qualify for a comprehensive warranty.
After assessment is made, if parts are required, the machines will be refurbished, brought back to the original operating specs, and re-certified for inclusion in an ongoing parts & warranty contract with monthly payments.
