Heidelberg reports 1,600 shareholders (close to 30%) participated in their 2016-17 annual meeting, held in Mannheim, where the company discussed their strategy & results for the past financial year. CEO Rainer Hundsdörfer presented “Heidelberg Goes Digital”, outlining Heidelberg’s future direction with a strategic focus on technology leadership, digital transformation and operational excellence.

Following their successful return to profitability, Heidelberg will also be aiming for growth. Approval from the company’s shareholders was needed for six of the seven agenda items, which were all approved by a clear majority.
