Kodak ProoferClient not resolving 'hot folders'

Using 3.2.2.171 of the Kodak Proofing software, to Epson printers. Hot folders used to be visible, however after a restart, I get an error message (repeated in the screen grab below). Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Configure -> Hot folders/ Virtual Printers:

'The operation failed: Error 85061: Controller Daemon is not running'

in the Kodak Proofer Administrator, window, all software seems to be running.

Forgetting the KPS Client software interface, can you submit copies of files to the hot folders using a standard UNC file path directly to the hot folder (i.e. submit the files through the O.S.)?

Do you use a direct connection from Prinergy to KPS?

Are you licensed for OpenConnectivity and if so is it running?

Can you provide a screenshot of the Administrator interface for the controller?

See screen grab below of the interface. And Open Connectivity is there and running. We no longer use Prinergy, but were printing via hotfolders. Unsure how to UNC/path.

The hot folders should have a path using the \\controller name + \directory name, such as:

\\KPS-Controller-Name\Hot Folder Name

or in your case:

\\CX10010\Hot Folder Name

You could try to copy (not move original files which will be deleted) files to the hot folder using Windows Explorer or a CMD prompt to see if they are processed by the running KPS server software (to work around the client software not working). If you copy a hot folder, you will see the UNC path listed on the first window.

This of course presumes that you are using a hot folder and not a virtual printer.
