Kodak has a new Nexfinity press—powered by a new front end—that features imposition, trapping, color management, job specs, job management, reporting and automated workflow via JDF & JMF. The press features speeds from 83-152 ppm, expanded sheet lengths and is capable of handling 24pt. stocks.

Kodak uses their Dynamic Imaging Technology to make algorithmic adjustments to specific image areas, optimizing image quality, producing crisp text, hard lines, soft skin tones & sky tones on the same page, via a high-resolution, multi-bit LED writing system. Available in the spring of 2018, the US cost is expected to be in the $885,000 range and will offer running costs 1/3[SUP]rd[/SUP] less than their current Nexpress.
