    VMware or Parallels?

    What's your pick and why?

    Re: VMware or Parallels?

I am on the latest build of Parallels. We have it on 4 macs. Love it.
Be careful on an Imac. We fought issue after issue. Also, some of our problems may have
been related to not setting permissions in windows, blah blah blah. In one ear and out the
other. I just called the IT guy and it all got much better.
I tried a 30 day of VM and it just did not seem as "dummy proof" as Paralells.
    My 2 cents

I have Parallels running Win2003server on my MacBookPro. Great !
Install and set-up was a breeze, networking, sharing DVD drive, all automatic. No problem accessing my files in the MacOSX side. Flash drives show up easily. Switching between OS's is flawless. Have not found any compatibility issues yet with softwares. Only Apple could build a computer that Windows can run on so well. go figure.
