  • Newbie: Do I have to seal/glue (not just close) envelope flaps before printing?

    Thanks

Sealing them isn't bad. Just apply a heavy duty steamer to a pile of envelopes for 1/2 hour or so.
The tricky part is when you're done printing and have to unseal the envelopes so they can be used.

We always seal our envelopes before printing including the peel & seal type, we deliver them to the customer sealed, so it's their problem after that. We don't seem to get a lot of repeat envelope orders

OK, I see you are kidding. It is good to know you don't have to seal them. Thanks

For any orders over 5000 envelopes, we always include a complimentary letter opener to assist in their re-opening. It's the little touches that make customers happy.

It seems far too complex, costs money, involves a lot of people, will take time etc etc. And then you run out of excuses. Read the article.
