Flexo Plate Seams

One old trick is to use a thick black marker and color the area of the stickyback that is under the seam. The chemicals in the marker help with the plate adhesion. Another option is to pre-curl your plates before mounting. Basically just put them in a shipping tube or similar overnight in a warm area of the shop. A larger cyl. may help. We try to stay above 7.5" cyl. whenever possible. Also reducing the floor of the plate will help. We try to keep the floor as low as possible (while still maintaining printability) which keeps the plate a little more flexible.

Hope that helps!
