Hiiiii,
We are printing with komori lithrone 740. The ink forms on metering roller which is causing scumming problem. Please suggest the solution.

Did you tried changing your fountain solution or inks? Try cleaning them with a metering roller cleaner and apply gum at the end of the shift, this may help a little.

if you know that your damper settings are correct then you might want to try etching out the chrome roller. On the last day of the workweek try mixing a solution a plate cleaner. some AGE, and a little bit of very mild abrasive such as cream of tartar. If you have no cream of tartar a little bit of spray powder will do. Work the solution into the chrome roller briskly with circular motions until the entire chrome roller has been cleaned. This should be done AFTER you've backed off the metering roller for the weekend and left to sit dried on the chrome roller over the weekend. Before engaging the metering roller on Monday morning just wipe it down with a sponge soaked in fountain solution. Do this every weekend!!!
