Hello - We are looking at adding capacity and interested in adding a used machine. We have been offered a 2000 Model Akiyama J-Print 4 over 4 machine. Would like to hear the opinions/experiences of others with this machine.
Thanks in Advance.

great press, maybe a bit hard to source ink duct keys?? also you need to do a little work on your Blanket / Ink / Fount for the max performance

Hard to find good service for this press. Our used jp44 did not print on coated stock. Even after gripper replacement and 5 years of trials. Akiyama has it's own format and app for ink profiles. So you will need to convert any standard profiles for it. And the app is old and do not work on every pc.
now the good part. Mabeg roll to sheet option is marvelous. Bumped our productivity a lot.
Register system is very convenient.
works great with intellytrax from x-rite
