Avanti will feature the live integration of Avanti Slingshot with HP PrintOS—at Dscoop’s Edge conference in Orlando, Florida (March 24-27)—demonstrating real-time job profitability calculations.
Slingshot captures a variety of job-level statistics from HP’s PrintOS Jobs API, running on an HP Indigo digital press, during the event, and uses the data to calculate on-the-fly costs and profit margins.
For most, calculating the profit margin on each job is standard practice, however, the benefit of this integration is the bidirectional data flow between these systems—eliminating manual re-keying and providing fast calculations.
