NPES / VDMA have published a new study—The “Worldwide Market for Print 2.0: Global Opportunities in Publishing Printing and Marketing & Commercial Printing”—an in-depth forecast and trends report. Their study features large amounts of data & analysis with an in-depth forecast & trends report on 26 print markets. This Phase II study follows their Phase I 2016 Packaging study.

The Phase II study reports that 71% of the total publishing printing revenues are concentrated in 5 top markets: China, U.S., Japan, U.K. and France. The largest share and fastest pace of future growth is in the Asia-Pacific region. India’s will be the largest growth market, projected to grow at 8.1% annually, supplanting the U.K. as the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] largest market. Regional Asia-Pacific growth: Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines & China will post annual increases from 6.1% to 1.2% through 2021.
