National Beer Day

As we come to a close on another week, and, celebrate Friday after work, I think it is worth noting (at least, for those of us here in the States), that today is National Beer Day. Not to be confused with every other reason to drink beer (Friday, the weekend, St Patrick's day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, etc.), today is exceptionally special. On this day (April 7, 1933) the Beer-Wine Revenue Act (also known as the Cullen-Harrison Act) went in to effect that allowed the making and selling of Beer under a certain alcohol-by-volume threshold. A very big deal at the time, as we began our exit from the Prohibition days. Soooooo, when you get home tonight, celebrate another American Milestone.......!

Would love to have this one right now :)
