wide format eco solvent Roland vs Mutoh

wonderings

We have been contemplating expanding our capabilities to something we can print outdoor products as well as label stocks for mounting on coroplast and foam core. This is all pretty new to me, was not aware that we were in talks with people about different devices. So I really have no clue about these brands. Any thoughts on Roland Versacamm and Mutoh? The two units:

Mutoh Valuejet 1624

Mutton Edition Onyx RIP Centre

Roland VerrsaCamm SP-540i

VersaWorks Software RIP

From my experience Roland is far superior to Mutoh. It seems that people often start with Mutoh due to price and then never look back.

Depending on how critical color is for you I would not suggest VersaWorks and would look into Onyx as a front end, avoid Wasatch. If I had a choice between free VersaWorks and paying extra for Wasatch I would just get by with Versa.
