EFI has officially opened its new 240,000-sq.’ East Coast headquarters in Londonderry, New Hampshire with an official ribbon cutting ceremony. In a well-attended event, represented by state economic development, business and US Senate officials, EFI’s new facility is modern, airy & bright, and will eventually provide employment for 400 people. The facility is host to EFI’s global inkjet demonstration, sales & training centers, as well as inkjet manufacturing and warehousing. The NH facility produces inkjets for distribution & sales throughout the world.
Guy Gecht, EFI CEO, was on hand for the event, saying the “Future of manufacturing is inkjet, and New Hampshire is the Silicon Valley of Inkjet”. EFI, now a $1B company, Gecht said that a substantial percentage of this is generated by EFI inkjets.
Located at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport on 17 leased acres of airport owned land, the company is situated in one of the state’s hottest areas, just north of Boston. Also located there is F.W. Webb’s central distribution facility, a large FedEx facility and the UPS / Pratt & Whitney logistics center.
