MUTOH America Inc. announces the launch of two new 64” eco-solvent printers: XpertJet 1641SR and 1682SR, paired with Mutoh's new MS41 Eco-Solvent inks.
The 1682SR has a staggered dual head design which is available in both 4-color (CMYK) and 7-color (CMYK, Lc,Lm,Lk,) configurations, and the 1641SR is a single head 4-color (CMYK) printer. The XpertJet printers have new features designed to enhance work flow and output quality for various types of wraps, fine art, banners, decals, posters and indoor/outdoor signage.
These features include:
* New Cover Design—featuring easy maintenance access.
* Automatic Bi-Directional alignment with built in color sensor—for automatically calibrating printer alignment.
* User friendly touch panel—only displays keys necessary for desired functions.
* Internal LED lighting—illuminates work area to easily monitor print status.
* LED warning indicators—showing remaining ink levels for each ink cartridge.
* MUTOH Status Monitor (MSM)—check's printer operation in real time, via smartphone or tablet.
* New Media Feed Flange Design—allows fast & easy media loading/change.
* New Pressure Roller System—allows manual selection / engagement of individual pressure rollers to prevent binding or warping.
The XpertJets start shipping in September 2019.
