    Basic creaser?

I would bite the bullet and find a good used Morgana Auto Creaser. Set you back some $ but you won't regret it once you see how well it does. And if your volume grows with the new printers it's capable of several 1000 pieces per hour - with every one perfect.

Best Mid-Range Digital Press - KM 1060 Current

We have a Ricoh 7200 and it works very well on textures and heavy stock. Good registration. As far as auction machines - good luck getting anyone to put a service contract on them. I attempted to talk Ricoh into this and they said "No way!" They won't service a machine they don't have history...

    3rd party Ricoh 9200

I was recently told by one of their service managers Ricoh will not put any machine they didn't sell me on a service contract. Time and materials only.

    Digital Envelope printer Info

Hi - I have a 3 year old Printware Ijet envelope printer which does a great job on envelopes - it can even bleed all 4 sides. They say it can run flat sheets like letterhead, business cards and postcards as well. We have not done that. It is great with envelopes but we found we didn't use it...

    RIP for Memjet (Astrojet M1 / Neopost AS-950C) ?

Another option would be to buy the Printware Ijet package I have for sale. It includes a RIP. Get a great printer and conveyor with a super RIP. It does a great job with spot colors!

Ijet Color envelope printer (memjet) Made by Printware

I have a lightly used Printware Ijet Color with RIP and conveyor that we just don't use. Prints good but we just haven't seen alot of business in the under 1500 envelopes. We have a Ryobi 3304 for the larger runs and have found that works better for our client base. The ijet can print full...

    Digital bindery

We have 2 of the Saber 116 and couldn't be happier. Very accurate, and thus far (3 years, 2 years) very dependable. I bought reconditioned from Bruce Peterson at Colter Peterson. They are the importer of the machine and the owners of Microcut which is the computer system used on the Sabers.

Need a Machine for Small Volume Envelope Printing

We don't have a machine yet. Looking at OKI, Intoprint and PSI. All very similar. Most likely we'd just be sending pdfs.

Need a Machine for Small Volume Envelope Printing

methgod - do you duplex on envelopes other than remittance? Have you printed on the flap of an A-6? Have you tried bleeding off any edges? The sales person says we can off 2 edges. We are coming from a Memjet printer which could bleed all sides. Thanks for all advice.

Need a Machine for Small Volume Envelope Printing

Shawnd - Thank you! Good to hear the RIP probably isn't needed. From what I saw it was a fancy $$$$ print driver! Are you able to get the advertised yield from the consumables?
