FYI: You can not buy new ECO units from Mitsubishi anymore. They quit importing them from Japan.

Duplo is no longer selling the CF375 and parts are limited. If they don't have what you need contact your local CP Bourg dealer. They took over distribution of the product line in the United States.

It does not. They are put in with lock tight to keep from coming apart under normal usage. My advise is use the cutter until the blades aren't good enough for your work and then replace the cutter unit. We see cutter units go anywhere from 2-6 million cuts depending on the work you are doing.

Be careful attempting to remove the blades. My Duplo technicians have tried a few times and the screw heads easily break off. We won't do it anymore.

If you are interested I have a used L801 for sale. I don't think it has more than about 5,000 labels run though it. PM if interested.

The blade should not need replacement until well over 1,000,000 cuts on the DC-618. You probably still have a long way to go. To check the cuts you have to go into the maintenance mode.

I have a biased opinion as my company is a Duplo dealer. I would say that the 618 is far more bang for the buck than a 646. The PC Controller software, higher GSM rating, size and cost are all in favor of the 618. The benefit of the 646 comes if you are using more of the module upgrades like...
